Alrighty! This is something that's been bothering me for a little bit now.
How many of you have wanted a critique on a picture and had gone to click the "Ask for critiques" button on the submit page and then found out you needed to be a premium member to ask for them?
I have, quite a few times actually, and to be honest it's annoying.
It's a little ridiculous that one must pay $30 dollars a year to get that one feature, and to that matter, the number of premium members that actually use the critiques feature is less than half of the paying members.
On top of that how many of you have tried to make your description noticeable with a stamp or enhanced text to try and get critiques, but the only comments that you received were "Good job" or "Kawaii" or "I love it!"
I think that making it so that 'freemium' members can use this feature will make it easier for the people that really want to get the critiques to actually get them.
If you agree with this then could you please look at HERE
Thanks for reading, and I avoided ranting as much as I probably could have so thanks much for reading this!
Art Works and Plans
Alright! I've gotten my laptop up and running and have done a few pictures, but sadly my laptop is still incapable of using the internet. We're going to take it in and have it looked at soon, but I'm not sure why it cannot connect to the internet. As soon as I have that fixed then I can submit. I'm really dory for the delay, and I'd be able to submit if I hadn't busted my camera.
It's a little disappointing, but I'm still grateful I managed to get a laptop in my price range.
I'm doing pixel works again! I'd show an example, but as stated before I have little internet access.
I'm going to be doing a lot of practice on proportions in the traditional area, and am going to be drawing Pokémon and people, and other things to do this. Hopefully I'll be able to actually post pictures soon....
My DeviantArt Page
I'm planning on making journal dolls, and now that I've got a couple done I'm really happy. I'll post them when I get everything else too...
The Music Box
I stole this amazing idea from a friend, I hope she doesn't mind.
Just a little song to liven things up with, no? Hope you like this piece, I love it!
This video you'll have to click the link for, My apologies, apparently this journal Skin doesn't allow the video embeds. My apologies, click HERE to enjoy the song I've chosen.
For those who didn't know, the "Music Box" is a little piece of the journal dedicated to a song I've fallen in love with.
Most of these will be soundtracks from movies and/or video-games.
These are all songs that I have killed the replay button playing again, and again, and again. The poor replay button!
I've been a little obsessed with Legend of Zelda; Link to the Past
and Legend of Zelda; Minish Cap
. Because of this I haven't been drawing as much as I could... Eventually I'll get over this little obsession (and likely move on to my Pokémon games), but for the moment I'll live with that fact. Also, I've been drawing Link a bit... Eventually I'll get a life, if those things are real, and I'll do something else with my time. Eventually....
Well, that's all for now everyone! Thank you so much for reading this!
